My background as an art director and creative director in fashion advertising and marketing in New York City has given me a love of working in collaboration with colleagues and clients. My jobs included finding, hiring and working with fashion, still life, and interiors photographers, set stylists, and other professionals. I have always believed in hiring people not simply for the excellence of their work but as importantly, in how well they work with others.
After a few decades, for a change of pace, I moved on to managing a friend’s interior design showroom and workroom. The responsibilities included maintaining client relations, and restoring, designing, selling and installing 20th century modern furnishings and accessories. I also photographed many of our creations and restored pieces so that they could be sold online.
Afterwards I moved to Norman, Oklahoma to deal with family issues, and while I was there, I took a job as the office administrator for a real estate brokerage. One of my duties was arranging for photography of our clients’ homes, and uploading the images to the MLS and our website. It was there that I came to recognize the crucial need for accurate yet complimentary photography. The aim always being to show our listings in their best possible light and to give customers a realistic expectation of properties.
I have brought these combined experiences to put to work for my clients here in Santa Fe. I believe that my love of architecture and design combined with my love of collaboration with others make me an ideal choice for your real estate photography needs.
